Nancy Buck is an adjunct instructor in Bank Street College of Education’s Math Leadership Program. In addition to her 11 years teaching in 5–12 classrooms, Nancy has extensive experience with coaching as a peer instructional teacher leader. As a mathematician who has dealt with math anxiety, she understands how math anxiety acts as a major barrier for administrators, teachers, and students. Her dissertation focused on building math identity in elementary school teachers to lessen math anxiety.
